Crosslines To Have Food Pantry Open Every 4th Saturday
A special program is starting to combat what a spokeswoman with Council of Churches of the Ozarks is a 'hunger crisis' in and around Springfield.
Christine Moses tells KTTS News Crosslines is expanding its food pantry hours, and on every 4th Saturday of the month the food pantry will be open 9am till noon.
She says working families are the focus.
The food pantry will still be open its normal hours through the week, but Moses says the extra Saturday will help someone from having to rush from work.
Each fourth Saturday a different business will provide the food and volunteers -- the first one is Jack Henry and Associates.
