Former Judge Dies In Crash In Monett

A fatal crash in Monett this week has killed who has served as a judge and city attorney for the area. Authorities say Dale Burke, who was 75, slammed his car into a semi that had stopped to turn at Highway 37 and Highway 60 Wednesday night. Burke was a former Barry County Associate Circuit Judge, Monett Municipal Judge and Monett City Attorney.
