Springfield Blasts Arkansas 13-7
The Springfield Cardinals jumped out to an early 8-0 lead and hung on to beat the Arkansas Travelers 13-7 at Hammons Field on Wednesday night.
The Travelers scored all of their runs in the 7th inning, but it wasn't enough to overcome the lead built up by the Cardinals.
The Cardinals had four home runs to power their offense.
With the win, the double A Cardinals are 13 games over .500 for the season at 57-44.
Seth Maness will conclude the series with the Travelers tonight .
