Springfield Man Admits To Felony Child Abuse

A man from Springfield faces at least ten years in prison after he admitted to felony child abuse and assault on a two year old child.
21 year old John Albert was found guilty of squeezing the boy repeatedly and throwing him across the room, causing several fractures.
The child is the son of Albert's former girlfriend.
Court papers say because of the severity of the injuries, the child will suffer long term physical issues.
