Several Cities Ask You To Conserve Water
Officials from several cities and water providers in southwest Missouri are asking you to do your part in helping conserve water during the drought before voluntary restrictions become mandatory.
Springfield City Utilities says while water levels have dropped to about 75 percent of capacity, officials are not ready to impose mandatory water conservation measures.
Joplin, Lamar and Neosho are among the cities asking you to please limit the number of times you water your lawns or turn on the sprinklers.
