Springfield Cardinals Win On 9th Inning Walk

The Springfield Cardinals scored two runs in the bottom of the 9th on a pinch-hit RBI double from Jamie Romak and a walk off bases loaded walk to beat the Northwest Arkansas Naturals 5-4 and sweep the series .

The Cardinals got on the board with two runs in the first inning as Xavier Scruggs hit a two run home run for the early lead.

In the 9th, Oscar Taveras saw only one strike before walking to win the game 5-4 to complete the four game sweep.

The Cardinals continue their home stand tonight when they take on the Arkansas Travelers at 7:08.

The Cards are now 13 games over .500.
