The F-B-I has been asked to look over threats against a bi-racial family in Springfield.
An agent in Kansas City confirms to KTTS News this is all preliminary to see if there are any civil rights violations.
Earlier this month, a set fire damaged the family's home in north Springfield.
Later that week, someone scratched the word 'die' and a racial slur on the side of a car at the same house.
