This weekend some students from Drury University along and their teacher made a field trip to Ozark for an archaeological dig.

Greene County Geologist Matt Forir  along with his class did a excavation at the entrance of Smallin cave.  This is the first of its kind for this location.  So far they found Native American artifacts dating back two to three thousand years.  Click here to learn more about Smallin Cave.
