Salvation Army: Emergency Cooling Center

The Salvation Army's Emergency Cooling Center is open and will remain open throughout the duration of the Heat Advisory. However, the cooling center will remain open if the Heat Advisory is extended or there appears to be a need in the community.
Anyone in need of shelter from the extreme temperatures is encouraged to come to The Salvation Army.
So far this year, the Emergency Cooling Center has been open a total of ten days and served 27 people - including seven women and one child.
