11 Counties In Arkansas Get USDA Disaster Declaration
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - The U.S. Department of Agriculture has declared 11 Arkansas counties as primary natural disaster areas due to the extreme summer drought. The agency additionally noted that farmers and ranchers counties that adjoin the primary disaster areas are also eligible for federal assistance. Producers in the affected areas can also qualify for low-interest loans.
