Food Bank To Receive $125,00 Grant From Walmart
Lots of folks around the Ozarks will be eating better thanks to the generosity of the Walmart Foundation State Giving Program.
The foundation will be giving Ozarks Food Harvest a $125,000 dollar grant.
The food harvest will use the funds potentially leveraging the gift to $250,000 - the equivalent of 1.5 million meals for families in need in southwest Missouri.
Ozarks Food Harvest has 250 food pantries in the region, with more than ten million meals handed out each year.
Walmart will present the gift at the O'Reilly Family Center for Hunger Relief on Thursday, July 26.
