Jury Selection Resumes In Alleged Cop Killer Trial

PARAGOULD, Ark. (AP) - Jury selection is expected to resume today in the trial of a man accused of shooting and killing a Truman police officer last year. The Greensboro Sun reports two jurors were picked yesterday in the capital murder trial of 38 year old Jerry Lard. He is accused of killing police officer Jon Schmidt in April of 2011 after a traffic stop.
