Update: Drowning Victim's Name Released
No foul play is suspected in a drowning at Table Rock Lake this afternoon. The Highway Patrol says Gbenga Afolabi was 23 and from Texas. He was in a cove between the state park marina and the boat access to the north.
The Patrol says Afolabi jumped off a boat and immediately had trouble swimming. He was thrown a flotation device, but lost his grip and went under water. His body was recovered less than two hours later.
