Absentee ballots for the August 7th primary have gone out says the Greene County Clerk's Office.

Clerk Richard Struckhoff says by law overseas and military ballots have to be sent to people 45 days before the election, and that's been done.

He also says absentee ballots have been sent to people who are permanently disabled

Struckhoff goes on to say its way too early in the game to have any numbers as to how many people are casting absentee ballots.

This is the most complicated August primary that has ever been held in Greene County says Struckhoff.

There's been more committee races on the Republican ticket than ever before and that means more ballot styles.
