A man from Springfield has been charged with murdering his roomate at a house the two shared on west Latoka.

Police say Jarrod Sirois confessed to hitting Robert Pugh in the head with a pipe,  wanting to take his heroin.

Police found Pugh on the couch, his body covered with a blanket, his face covered with a blue towel.

Sirois was later found a local motel where he'd tried to cut his own throat.
