New, Safer Ambulances For Cox Health
The often bumpy ride in an ambulance to the hospital may be a thing of the past when Cox Health unveils its new Mercedes Sprinter ambulances later this morning.
Cox says Sprinters are used the world-over and include a four-point harness so EMTs can be held in place while still being able to reach medical supplies and care for patients.
Cox also says they should save $7,000 each in gas a year.
The new ambulances will be on display at Cox South, outside the new emergency room.
