Manslaughter charges have been filed against a Missouri Southern State University student accused of driving drunk when he crashed his SUV, killing two of his friends.

Jasper County prosecutors say Jeremy Johnson, who's 20, lost control of the vehicle on I-44.

A semi slammed into the wreckage.

Former Parkview High School football players Diondre Johnson and Michael McCrimmons died.

All of the men were students at Missouri Southern. They were headed back to Joplin after partying at a nightclub in Springfield.
