Nixon Will Sign Senior Protection Bill In Springfield
Governor Jay Nixon will make another stop in Springfield today - this time to sign a measure protecting Missouri's seniors.
Nixon will sign senate bill 689.
It beefs up protection for seniors are being exploited financially.
It allows the state to release to prosecutors, records dealing with a senior's income or assets to see if the facility they're in is taking advantage of them.
Nixon will sign the bill at the South Side Senior Center on South Fremont.
