POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (AP) - Authorities in southeast Missouri have arrested five people suspected in a string of burglaries.
The Poplar Bluff Daily American Republic reports that seven burglaries and one theft occurred in and around the small towns of Fisk and Rombauer, all on June 27. The suspects range in age from 24 to 57.
Items stolen included televisions, computers and cameras, along with guns, jewelry and tools.
Butler County Lt. Brian Evans says a key to the investigation was a white Jeep Cherokee that was seen in the area of the crimes.
