Everything from an expanded library with a movie theater complex to a minor league baseball stadium are on the list of proposed developments for the city pf Joplin,
A master planner hired by the city has come with a list of 19 proposed projects with a price tag of nearly $800 million.
Joplin city council and public got their first look at the projects on Monday night.
Developers have spent the past year speaking with the citizens advisory recovery team and local people to get an overall feel for their vision for the city.
Council will hold a public hearing next Monday night to start the funding application process rolling.
Developers say once funding is in place it will take up to five years to have everything in place.
