National And American League All Star Starting LIneups Announced
National League Manager Tony LaRussa had a bit of a surprise up his sleeve when he announced that San Francisco Giants pitcher Matt Cain would get the start for the National League in Tuesday night's Major League Baseball All Star Game in Kansas Ciy. Cain is 9-3, but knuckleballer R. A. Dickey of the New York Mets has compiled a record of 12-1 with an ERA of 2.40 in 17 starts.
Here are the lineups:
National League:
