Wildfires Being Fought In Arkansas
WRIGHTSVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Forestry Commission says crews have been fighting a handful of fires started by lightning strikes across the state this weekend. An agency spokesman said that firefighters were working to put out several blazes, including those in Cleburne and Conway Counties. Single-engine air tankers dropped water on a lightning strike fire in Stone County that burned about 30 acres on Saturday.
