15 Years In Prison For Man From Springfield
The take was fairly small, but the prison term is going to be long for a man from Springfield.
Prosecutors in Jasper County say Stephen N. Agee has been sentenced to 15 years behind bars.
He used a gun when he took 350-dollars from the DAV store in Joplin about two years ago.
Agee also tried to run down a Joplin police officer as he was putting stop sticks in the road while Agee was speeding away in a car after being spotted at Downstream Casino.
Agee ran through Newton County and into Oklahoma.
He was caught in Tulsa at the Hard Rock Cafe, and still faces charges in Newton and Greene Counties in Missouri.
