20-Mile Trooper Project For People Heading Home
(MoNET) - The Missouri Highway Patrol is doing some different things because the July 4th holiday fell in the middle of the week.
On Tuesday troopers were stationed every 20 miles on the major highways because of the heavy traffic at the start of the Independence Day holiday weekend, with the 4th on a Wednesday.
Lieutenant Tim Hull says on Monday every available trooper will be out on the roads again as people head home from a very long holiday weekend.
