Crews Fight Large Grass Fire In Northern Greene County

It's not yet clear exactly how many acres of land have burned or how many more are being threatened, but a grass and forest fire has kept crews in northern Greene County plenty busy.
Flames were reported in a field near Highways BB and Z, east of Walnut Grove. Several departments were called to the scene with brush trucks to surround the fire and help contain it.
There have been no reports of injuries or threatened homes.
