Police in Springfield Investigate Home Where Possible Body Was Found

Police in Springfield are looking into the contents of a trash can found at home near the corner of Edgewood and Fort.
Authorities say they were contacted by Marionville Police about a possible dead person at the property. Investigators say the house at 1231 W. Edgewood belonged to the man killed by a Marioville Police Officer over the weekend.
The Greene County Medical Examiners will release more information tomorrow on what was found.
