Springfield Cardinals Fall At Hammons 8-3

The Springfield Cardinals hope of tying a franchise record eight game streak was cut short at seven after a loss Tuesday at Hammons Field.
Crowds lined up early in the morning to get their chance at a replica World Series Ring, battling the heat and lines.
Although fans were pleased coming in the gates, the action on the field was a different story as the Redbirds lost 8-3 to Midland Rockhounds.
Game time Wednesday night is 5:08 PM ahead of the special Fireworks at the Field event.
