Update: Woman Arrested After Car Hits Apartment Building

Fourth of July weekend is noisy enough, but what about the sound of a car slamming into your apartment?
A woman could be charged with drunk driving after Springfield police say she plowed into an outer wall at Fairview Studios on Norton Road between Broadway and Fort.
Lieutenant Roger Moore tells KTTS News the wall was not a load-bearing wall, and no one was injured.
Management evacuated the apartment for a short time, but Moore says they are open for business.
The impact from the car knocked the building at least six inches off its foundation.
