Springfield City Council Okays Funding Agreement For Kraft Bonds
Springfield City Council made short work tonight of a rather short agenda. A unanimous vote okayed a funding agreement for a proposed expansion at Kraft. The company wants to use city-issued bonds to replace aging equipment.
With tonight's vote, the city has the go-ahead to draw up the paperwork. Council won't likely see this issue again until the bond proposal is ready.
