Area Fire Departments Meeting On Fireworks Safety
With the 4th of July holiday almost here, area fire departments are meeting with reporters today to discuss fireworks safety and precautions.
In Stone County, the Southern Stone County fire protection district will brief reporters on their decision to allow fireworks use in the county this holiday.
This afternoon, other fire chiefs in the area will gather at the Battlefield fire station to talk about ways to protect your property and to explain the dangers of commercial fireworks.
That session gets underway at 1:30 p.m.
