Joplin Could Get FEMA Shelters
The city of Joplin continues to rebuild after a tornado destroyed parts of their city. Today the community could have 99 concrete storm shelters to use or distribute in the future. FEMA has already put some at a places like mobile home parks, schools, and other public buildings. Other places that could get shelters could be the health department, nursing homes, and other city buildings.
