Vicky Hartzler Disappointed With "Obamacare" Decision
Disappointed, but not discouraged, is how central Missouri Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler reacted to the Supreme Court decision to uphold President Obama's national health care law.
Hartzler tells KTTS News the law fails to address the issue of funding and drives up health care costs and makes it harder for businesses to hire more workers.
She says while the ruling is cause for dismay, supporters of the free market and individual liberty can take some comfort in the dissenting view that this law violates the U.S Constitution.
Hartzler says, "My colleagues and I remain committed to repealing this troublesome law in its entirety."
Since coming to office in January of 2011, Hartzler has opposed President Obama's expansion of federal control over health dare. She has voted 30 times to repeal, defend or dismantle "Obamacare."
