House Fire Near Battlefield
Firefighters from Battlefield, Nixa and Republic were called out to a house in the 4800 block of South Louise near Battlefield.
First arriving crews on the scene close to Sandy and Williams Streets saw smoke and flames.
The fire did get into the ceiling.
No word on what started the Thursday evening fire, and no injuries have been reported.
