Burn Bans Piling Up Across The Ozarks
More towns and cities are opting out of the Fourth of July, meaning you won't be able to shoot off fireworks this year.
Nixa is now under a burn ban and a fairly new rule that let folks shoot off fireworks on the Fourth of July holiday is on hold. It's just too dry.
Niangua Seymour, same thing. No fireworks.
Rolla is banning sky lanterns saying they float far away and can be dangerous this year.
Bolivar, Rolla and Seymour went under a burn ban earlier this week.
