FORT SMITH, Ark. (AP) - A judge has set a $100,000 bond for a professional clown in Fort Smith who is accused of having child pornography on his home computer.
Circuit Judge James O. Cox ordered 47-year-old Thomas Harold Morgan on Wednesday to have no contact with children and no Internet access if he is released.
Cox postponed Morgan's arraignment until July 5, when Morgan can enter a plea. The Northwest Arkansas Times reports Morgan told Cox during Wednesday's appearance via video link that he wanted to hire an attorney.
Morgan was arrested June 20 after Fort Smith police allegedly caught Morgan downloading child pornography from an Internet file-sharing site known to contain illegal images of children.
