Branson Mom Jailed For Leaving Kids With Sex Offender
A mother from Branson who left her young kids alone with a sex offender for months is heading to prison for eight years.
The Taney County prosecutor says several state agencies told 29 year old Veronica Davis to keep her kids away from Robert Nelson.
Instead, according to court papers, she married Nelson, then left her two daughters, each under ten years of age with him while she was gone for at least six months.
He molested both girls.
Nelson was convicted of sexual abuse last year in Christian County.
He will be sentenced on Friday.
