City Utilities May Lower Boating Fees On Fellows Lake
If you sail, kayak or canoe on Fellows Lake, Springfield City Utilities may make a major reduction in the fees charged to use the lake.
It now costs $35 to register any non-motorized boat. But, a proposal before CU's plans and policies committee today would lower than fee to $15, which would be a reduction of more than 40 percent.
The committee meets at CU's training center on Central at four o'clock.
