Parents Want Change At Lebanon School
Parents, advocates and even a state lawmaker attended a rally in Lebanon this morning, upset that special needs kids at the school are tucked away in two trailers behind the junior high.
School leaders are talking about options, but parent Valentine Schiverdeck says they're giving the district until the beginning of the school year to stop the segregation. They're threatening to move their kids to another district or homeschool.
Several parents were on-hand today to talk about the affects of segregation, safety, health and how new parents view the town when deciding where to live.
School leaders say money and spave are the two big obstacles they're facing.
