Woman Charged Federally For Selling Counterfeit Items
ST. LOUIS (AP) - A St. Louis County woman is facing federal charges for allegedly selling counterfeit clothing, purses and shoes.
The U.S. Attorney's office in St. Louis says 49-year-old Soukeye Fox sold the fake goods from a flea market in the St. Louis County town of Pagedale and from stores in Ferguson and St. Louis.
Authorities say some of the counterfeit goods came from China but Fox also kept an inventory of components to make counterfeit purses, including nearly 6,000 fake labels.
Fox was indicted by a federal grand jury on Thursday and arrested Friday at the flea market. She is charged with one count of trafficking in counterfeit goods. She does not yet have a listed attorney.
