The Springfield Cardinals scored four runs in the top of the first, only to have the host Arkansas Travelers answer with three in the bottom of the first and tie the game at 4-4 in the second.

After that, the Cardinals scored two in the fifth, three in the 6Th and a single tally in the 8Th on their way to a 10-6 victory.

They salvaged the four game series with the win.  The Cardinals are now back to .500 for the season at 36-36.

Tonight, the double A Cardinals begin a weekend series in Tulsa with the Drillers.

The Cardinals will send Seth Manes to the mound.

First pitch is at 7:05.
