Branson Names New Assistant Police Chief

Branson has a new assistant police chief.
Stan Dobbins has been with the Gladstone police department for the past 27 years, and as a captain since 2007.
He was selected by city council from among five candidates. The review process involved every member of the police department.
Dobbins holds a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Park University and his currently completing a Masters Degree From Lincoln University. Prior to working for the city of Gladstone, he also worked for the city of Excelsior Springs.
Dobbins will begin his new duties on July 16th.
