Delayed Murder Trial Resumes Today In Greene County
After a series of delays, the bench trial for a local man charged with shooting a Hillcrest High school student to death more than two years ago resumes today in a Greene County courtroom.
James Duke is charged with shooting Kody Ray to death on the front porch of his home on North Chicago in March of 2010.
Court papers say Duke murdered Ray because he thought he was a snitch.
A second defendant, Jordan Martin has his trial pending.
