A former real estate agent from Branson is off to federal prison for a year and a half for her role in a nearly $400,000 mortgage fraud scheme.

Vickie Lind pleaded guilty last October to conspiracy and money laundering charges.

The U.S. Attorney's office says she was convicted of defrauding a financial corporation from Overland Park, Kansas in order to obtain loans for a home in Ozark.

Lind must also pay more than$70,000 in restitution as part of her guilty plea.
