Forecast For Jordan Valley Park On Saturday: Snow
Temps in the 90s are in Saturday's forecast, but Jordan Valley Park in Springfield will be ice cold.
The 11th Annual Summer Snowfest at Jordan Valley Park is free and runs from 4-9pm.
Kids of all ages are invited to play in a mountain of snow made from ice shavings from Mediacom Ice Park. The event also features a free concert in the park, interactive games, snowman-building contests, giveaways and inflatables for smaller kids.
Entertainment includes local bands:
4 p.m. ABS Band — Blues, Funk and R & B
6:30 p.m. Flywheel — Rock-n-Roll covers
SnowFest is FREE at Jordan Valley Park, 735 E. Trafficway, downtown Springfield.
