Despite having just two hits, the Missouri State Bears baseball squad took advantage of some critical errors by the Kansas State Wildcats, shutting them out 3-0 at Hammons Field.

Four MSU pitchers combined on the shutout and extend the Bears current home winning streak to nine games.

Medrano was the key figure for the Bears at the plate, scoring twice on a pair of walks to go along with his 7th steal of the season.

Up next, the Bears continue their five game homestand on Friday, when they open a three game Missouri Valley Conference series against Illinois State at 6:30 p.m.
