In Tandem Election Of Governor, Lt.Gov May Be In Trouble
(AP) - A proposed constitutional amendment to have candidates for governor and lieutenant governor in Missouri run on the same ticket may be in trouble.
Some state senators are critical of the proposal.
A proposed amendment for the November ballot would require candidates to run on a ticket just like the president and vice president do.
If the amendment were to pass, it wouldn't take effect until 2016.
