Cards Open Defense Of World Championship

(AP) - The Cardinals run for another world championship starts tonight on the road in Miami.

They take on the Marlins in their new $515 million ball park on the site of the old Orange Bowl.

Marlins ace Josh Johnson will match up against the Cards Kyle Lose.

The game will also mark the debut of new Cards skipper Mike Marthena, who takes over for Tony La Russ who retired last year.

First pitch is set for just after six p.m.
