The 6-th floor of Mercy Hospital in Springfield is nothing more than a construction zone, for now.
But by this fall it will be the second Ronald McDonald House for Springfield.
President and C-E-O of the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Bonnie Keller, says the family center will be a security blanket for struggling families who have seriously ill children being treated at the hospital.
1/3 of the nearly $2 million for the project has been raised.
