Blunt, McCaskill Differ On Base Closings
(Missourinet) - Missouri's two U.S Senators are at odds when it comes to military base closings.
Democrat Claire McCaskill says she does not support a new base closing commission.
She says creating another BRAC would be catastrophic.
Republican Roy Blunt says while bases in Missouri can stand on their own merit, everything should be on the table when it comes to reducing federal spending.
Blunt says if we're going to cut spending let's start with President Obama's national health care bill.
