Arkansas Prosecutor Wants Death Sentence In New Trial
(AP) - A prosecutor in Benton County, Arkansas, says he will seek the death penalty for a former death row inmate whose conviction was overturned when a juror slept and another tweeted during court proceedings.
Prosecutor Van Stone says he plans to pursue the death penalty in the upcoming retrial of 26 year old Erickson Dimas-Martinez.
He's being held without bond in the Benton County jail.
